KER-CHINGGG!! moneyyyy!!

MoNEy mONey MONEYYYYY!
*hums the tune*

YH YH Perfect Jem, what can you tell us that we don’t already know?

Nothing!

King Solomon one of the wisest men that ever lived said, “there’s nothing new under the sun”.

My question to you now is what are you doing with the knowledge that you have?

Remember Knowledge is only power in the hands of someone that knows how to use it.

Knowledge is acquired by either information or revelation. The difference is that information is acquired by you seeing, hearing, touching or feeling something. Revelation is a hidden truth that is discovered either by divine intervention or by your educated inner man.

For example have you ever had a moment when you seemed to know something and you have no idea how you know it… you even wonder... “Like wow...i knew that”. Especially to those who do regular speaking, speeches, you say something and you think like...wow... that came out of me. That is your inner man, that inherent godly creativity (educated inner man). Revelation is quite simple, knowledge acquired by your spiritual relationship or journey with God, where he teaches and makes certain things known to you.
*Hi-5s reader*

This is what I can share with you based on my knowledge and relationship with money, and believe me we are good friends. A lot of people can be ignorant towards the idea of money: Money is evil.
*throws brick* NO! *SLAP YOURSELF*
The LOVE of money is the root of all evil. If money is evil, what does make you then when you go work and what do you pay your rent/mortgage... buy clothes with??? The evil mentioned above is about what you do with your money, intentions/motives and the actions you took to acquire it. That’s another day’s convo!

Perfect Jem's tips!!

  • Everyone should have at least 4 sources of revenue

You are a tree (essentially means LIFE) expected to produce fruit every month, every month you have to bring something to the plate: wages, profits, products...ideas... etc etc

Why 4? Well, because in Genesis 2:10-14 mentions 4 river heads coming out of the Eden. River has/is a current, money is referred to as currency, and therefore money is supposed to flow… therefore money has to FLOW into you in 4 different ways. Secondly the completion of nearly everything is summoned up in fours: 4weeks in a month after that we move to a next month, 4 seasons, and 4corners of the earth (north, east, south and west) 4 Gospels. The list goes on!

Well if you don’t have 4 start thinking about 4 different ways of making money, well start at least with one. You can have one that branches out to three others and even more. The point here is don’t limit yourself... INCREASE YOUR CAPACITY SO YOU CAN DO MORE! Discover your talents and exploit them for the greater you and for the world! *Invest in Yourself!*

  • Everyone should have a purpose to where you channel your money to.
Now if you don’t have this, when you get paid, for example, by the time the 2nd week has arrived you’re broke and you’re asking yourself… “Where did my money go?” followed by... “When is payday?”

Oh so you have even nodded your head and laughed, you know yourself, you have related...
*clap for yourself*

If you have the 1st point in motion then this point will be easy as you’ll direct your money towards producing something. Remember just because money is supposed to flow into you it doesn’t mean that it stays there. A current has to have direction, so it is imperative that money comes out of you... maintain the flow.

Have goals and targets, as cliché and tedious as it may sound, a person with such things has control over their life and is not easily strayed for they know what they want to achieve and they have given their life significance! This also places a demand on money, for money HAS to come in order for these plans to be fulfilled. If a current has direction (goals, plans etc.) it will flow towards that very thing!

This is what I say to myself... “I don’t spend money… I use money”. Therefore what I do with my money becomes useful, necessary. Not to say I don’t spoil myself, I use it wisely on myself!! The point here is your words create and have a strong indication on how you live your life. Speak correctly; upgrade your vocab because the power of life and death are in YOUR tongue!

  • Everyone should save
This is like the Achilles heel for soooooo many people!! One thing I have learnt from the millionaires and billionaires out there is that... pay yourself first! From 10p-hundreds and thousands start somewhere!
(For those who pay tithes, pay that first before yourself.)

I started out with £50 a month, that’s how much I used to pay myself for just being cute! *wiggles bum*….. Why?....... Well, if you have plans and goals your money will always be going somewhere but you need to have money for you also! So that you’ll never be broke. I’ll explain! This is what I do.

I have 3 forms of savings: Fridge, Freezer and Storage! I also have ‘PAY’ these are my terms!

This is what I do; here is a hypothetical scenario, assuming I earn from £20,000-£22,000pa, £1,300-£1,400a month:

*I pay myself £500 a month, so quarterly that’s £1500, yearly £6000. So I have paid myself £6000... Jheezee *dougies*.

*Now I decide to save £100 a month, so quarterly that £300, yearly £1200. So I have saved £1200 at the end of the year. (Obviously this will depend on how much you earn)… Work it out according to your status. This will mean that I will have at least £700-£900 left. (If I have no bills to pay).

You should always do your budget before your expenditures... yes before you pay your rent etc. You will realise that you do actually have a lot of money!

Fridge: is like your current account, think how many times you open your fridge a day, if you’re like me that’s a lot of times….. My current account is my fridge I’m always dipping in there!

Freezer: that’s a particular savings account where you put the money that you’ve set a purpose for in, just like a freezer you don’t take the food out of there everyday… (Even if its chips) you only open or use the food in the freezer when necessary! This is where your savings account should be, you give your money a purpose and you meet your targets and causes planned.

Storage: this I believe to be very crucial because this money you put aside that you’ll never touch. Regardless of the situation or circumstances just NEVER TOUCH IT!! See it as though you are building a mini-little trust for yourself and your future. You can put some of your ‘PAY ME’ here. In fact you can put all your ‘PAY ME’ money here, so that means even if your fridge is empty you know you have your freezer and your storage.

This doesn’t mean go out there and open 3 bank accounts recklessly but rather, sit down and budget and put structure in your finances, its just 1 step in putting structure and order in your life!!
  • Everyone needs to have faith
I read a lot and people are always trying to reach a point where they have gained financial freedom and people believe that they can only attain that in the millions and billions of pounds/dollars. I prefer to be mentally financially free first, to be honest money is the least of my worries because I not only believe but I know that it will always come! That’s my Faith; my needs will be supplied for, fill to full ‘according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus’. (Philippians 4:19)

Good books to read

These are just a few good books to inspire and motivate you, email or tweet me for others.. I have LOADS!!!! *wiggles bum*

Credit Cards: Yes or A NO-NO?

One thing that you need to understand about the world we live in is that, it runs on debt. We live in a debt fuelled society. From the countries borrowing and owing money to central banks and presidents who put their countries in debit with other countries. Which then fuels down to local banks with credit cards, loans and even store cards. We have been immersed into the life of buy now pay later and we are trained to think that it is ok! We are not afraid anymore of not having money anymore. We can buy all we want now and pay it back later despite the fact that we can actually be paying more than the initial price. However, some people still fear credit cards as though it's the pikin of the devil! Lol Surely there must be a way around this system right? Can we actually use this debt thing to actually work in our favour? There's always a loophole somewhere, can credit cards actually work in our favour? Yes, they can as long as you use it wisely. What do I mean by
