The Parfaite World

OMG!OSH …. Yes OMG!OSH I have a BLOG!! *hi-5s teddy-bear*

I have been meaning to blog for more than a year now but for some reason I never really got round to it. A few good friends insisted that I ought to give it a go, but I was quite reluctant. Nevertheless the past few days or so a special person has overly encouraged and motivated me with ideas and support. I am extremely grateful!!

This blog will be all about my world and the world on a global aspect through my eyes!! Whether it is: history, law, politics, inspirational/motivational, photography, fashion, hair, interviews or food yes food!! Everything and anything will be scrutinized!!

Feb Favourites!!!!

Moving on… Well, in ‘The Parfaite World’ these are the things that I absolutely love and could not go without during this month of February.

January marked 51 years since the death of the African independence hero, Patrice Lumumba. I love his biography truly inspirational. I love Clason's book it is amazing and has a lot of crucial yet simple, strategic rules in understanding wealth.

I love hair maintenance (I'll blog about that soon). I use Folicure shampoo to cleanse my hair. I love Herbal Essence Hello Hydration conditioner it smells amazing and keeps my hair hydrated, I use it to co-wash once or twice a week. I have 2 protein treatments by Organic Root Stimulator (ORS): Hair mayonnaise is the heavier treatment that I do ONCE a month. I use ORS Replenishing conditioner once a week to generally feed my hair. I mix virgin oils (castor, coconut, jojoba, argan, grapeseed, wheatgerm, olive oil, rose water) with each treatment and I also use these oils to seal the ends of my hair after moisturizing. I brought QP Elasta moisturizing mango butter earlier on this month it is AMAZING..*wiggles bum* I always let my hair air dry with Cantu Shea Butter leave in conditioner smells divine! I grease my scalp with Africa's best then seal my ends with oils. I have natural hair (not relaxed) so I use Eco-styler alcohol free gel to define my curls and hold my edges. It doesn't flake or has a nasty scent!

These are DEFINITELY my babies for the month, they were a bargin as well, can you imagine? I don't just love shoes, I LOVE LOVEEEE shoes. I wanted casual everyday wedge heels ( I pretty much wear heels everyday) and these were just calling me!!

I am not really a make-up person, I like the simple and natural look. Secondly I don't know how to apply it *coversface* My strength lies only with eyeliner and mascara. Last year summer I fell in love with Lip glosses *gosh*. Funny thing is I like and use purely the nude and soft natural pink colours..lol..leave me I'm trying, I'm not brave enough. HOWEVER.... I brought this, Collection 2000 Cream Puff in Fairy Cake, about a week ago... OMG!OSH its PARFAITE!!! Moisturises my Lips and colour is amazing and it smells soooo nice!! Every one needs Carmex in their bags or pockets... DRY LIPS IS A SIN, stay moisturized! Febrauary marked the FIRST time for me to paint all my finger nails *screams and throws a brick* (no fake nails were used) and I really really liked it, but I prefer my natural colour. So I guess I will paint for fun!! China Glaze nail polish has like the best colours, there are like 10 shades of pinks, blue and reds..literally every colour. My fav has been: (Peachy Keen, Strawberry Smoothie, Re-fresh Mint and Bahamian Escape).
Well, that is all for my Feb Favs and that sums up my... first blog!

Thank you for reading *hi-5s readers*

Credit Cards: Yes or A NO-NO?

One thing that you need to understand about the world we live in is that, it runs on debt. We live in a debt fuelled society. From the countries borrowing and owing money to central banks and presidents who put their countries in debit with other countries. Which then fuels down to local banks with credit cards, loans and even store cards. We have been immersed into the life of buy now pay later and we are trained to think that it is ok! We are not afraid anymore of not having money anymore. We can buy all we want now and pay it back later despite the fact that we can actually be paying more than the initial price. However, some people still fear credit cards as though it's the pikin of the devil! Lol Surely there must be a way around this system right? Can we actually use this debt thing to actually work in our favour? There's always a loophole somewhere, can credit cards actually work in our favour? Yes, they can as long as you use it wisely.
