8 Facts that Will Make You Want to Travel More

Traveling is a passion for many but not everyone is alike and not everyone can have a natural passion for going to new exciting places. The benefits of traveling cannot be denied even if you don’t have a passion for traveling. There are many reasons why traveling around the world is healthy for anyone and if one was to count them, the list would never end. Benefits, like embracing new cultures and understanding the point of view of people based on their social and geographical background, are things which are not available anywhere else.
This list of facts is specially compiled for those who do travel but seem to have run out of reasons for going on new journeys. These 8 facts will motivate you to travel more often.

Problem-Solving Skills

Psychologists have found out that people who venture in foreign lands have improved problem-solving skills as compared to people who don’t travel much. The reasons for this have been ascribed to the effort which travelers put just for their daily survival in a foreign land such as managing of their finances, deciding between which modes of transport to use etc. The ultimate result is the improvement in their problem-solving skills which stay after they’ve come back.

Decrease Heart Disease

Traveling has been shown to decrease heart-related problems. A decrease in heart disease also suggests an increase in the life of an individual. A study was carried out on 12,000 individuals for 9 years which found that people who took at least one vacation in a year had a 30 percent reduced risk of heart disease. This is independent of one’s level of income or overall health; it only depends on one’s desire to take a break from the humdrum of daily life.

Happiness

Science has shown that you can actually buy happiness by spending your money on experiences instead of products. This is much different from the conventional wisdom which says that driving a faster car or moving into a bigger house will make you happy but the results have been completely different. This is a great reason to convince your significant other and start packing your bags now after all everyone deserves to be happy, right?

Medicine

A research has shown that traveling really is the best medicine. It is also the potion to maintain one’s youth. This research by the Global Commission on Aging and Transamerica Center for Retirement Studies has shown that traveling reduces the risk of depression and improves both the mental and physical health. These benefits of travel are often immediate; nearly 90pc of the respondents saw a decrease in stress in just one or two days of traveling.

Creativity

If you ever thought there is a Michelangelo in you who is just waiting to come out then you should definitely go on a trip to Italy, Spain and France to see some of his most beautiful creations in real life. Not only will you appreciate the great pieces of art but, according to a study conducted at Indiana University, you’ll also become more creative in the process. You will think about better ways of handling situations which is another sign of the creative mind. Creativity is no longer a gift from the gods; you can get it for yourself. Now is the time to act. To make the best use of your creativity, save your money by shopping using Groupon at discounted prices.

Smart

Moving out of your apartment and going to some other part of the world makes you smarter. Experiments were conducted which asked the participants to solve a local problem and it was found that most participants had their thinking limited to the problem at hand whereas those who had been abroad used knowledge from other fields which could be applied to solve the problem at hand. Travelers are smart, traveling makes them smart.

Sexier

One of the biggest factors behind aging is stress. Traveling has been shown to reduce significantly in just two days of going on a trip so it can be inferred that people who take regular trips and spend more time relaxing and being carefree will age slower and will be more radiant. They’ll be looking young and sexy when their friends will have wrinkles and look tired.

Find Yourself

Traveling alone has been shown to increase our knowledge and widen our perspective of the world. This exposure helps us in understanding ourselves better and finding our true calling in life.

Credit Cards: Yes or A NO-NO?

One thing that you need to understand about the world we live in is that, it runs on debt. We live in a debt fuelled society. From the countries borrowing and owing money to central banks and presidents who put their countries in debit with other countries. Which then fuels down to local banks with credit cards, loans and even store cards. We have been immersed into the life of buy now pay later and we are trained to think that it is ok! We are not afraid anymore of not having money anymore. We can buy all we want now and pay it back later despite the fact that we can actually be paying more than the initial price. However, some people still fear credit cards as though it's the pikin of the devil! Lol Surely there must be a way around this system right? Can we actually use this debt thing to actually work in our favour? There's always a loophole somewhere, can credit cards actually work in our favour? Yes, they can as long as you use it wisely. What do I mean by

KER-CHINGGG!! moneyyyy!!

MoNEy mONey MONEYYYYY! *hums the tune* YH YH Perfect Jem , what can you tell us that we don’t already know? Nothing! King Solomon one of the wisest men that ever lived said, “there’s nothing new under the sun”.     My question to you now is what are you doing with the knowledge that you have? Remember Knowledge is only power in the hands of someone that knows how to use it. Knowledge is acquired by either information or revelation. The difference is that information is acquired by you seeing, hearing, touching or feeling something. Revelation is a hidden truth that is discovered either by divine intervention or by your educated inner man.   For example have you ever had a moment when you seemed to know something and you have no idea how you know it… you even wonder... “Like wow...i knew that”. Especially to those who do regular speaking, speeches, you say something and you think like...wow... that came out of me. That is
