Don't work a 9-5!!!

Do you have a 9-5 or thereabouts?

Don't you find it a bit annoying when you work hard and do what you need to do but yet people look down on you and say things like, "you should be doing more!"

Many of us have worked hard in school, got degrees in the field and amazingly are also working in that field but for some reason if you fall into the working schedule of 9-5 apparently you haven't done much with your life. If your working time falls short of any form of flexibility starting and finishing time or if your day runs on a schedule you're almost frowned upon. You then hear remarks, "I can't do a 9-5" well sorry mate you can't do it because you can't wake up on time.

On a serious note, for most their dream has been to be an accountant, do you even know how difficult it is to be chartered? The amount of exams you will need to do just to get where you want to be. Now if I'm chartered and receive a decent pay cheque being where I've always wanted to be, after I've travaileth and suffereth for many years, but my working pattern is 9-5 ha, you want to look down on me and disregard my achievements, may you fall down. Sorry I find that rather rude.

We seek financial freedom to do what we want to do, yes I know there will be others screaming but I want to be my own boss do what I want I want to do. When I hear that I realise you are of sheep mentality and a parrot because you're repetition is just mass rhetoric.
As your own boss the service is your sector, you must put in more hours than everyone else and even BEFORE you have employees. You must serve and forever cater to a need. You need to be able to find a slot in the business world and fill it, you need to be strong to be able to fight competition and attacks. It's not a walk in the park.

Most people their egos are just so huge they don't want to be employees because they don't want to be told what to do!

What I realised is this, not everyone will own businesses that are huge however everyone has a part to play. Think about it if we all had businesses who will we employ? We the owners will have to do the jobs ourselves. We actually then would not be bosses because we will not have employees so we will merely be bosses by title of occupation.

So humble yourself you righteous folks. If your business can meet and serve a purpose then Yasss do it go for it but don't look down on others who haven't had the same chances, ideas or will power as you.

It's like if I'm a doctor and I work 9-5 people will still look at you as though you're in the rat race but you are where you've always wanted to be. Now you feel pressured to open up your own surgery etc to feel like you have achieved something. I'm not saying you should not better your, far from, I'm forever encouraging the bettering of ones life, but move forward because it is the right thing and it feels right. Imagine I've always dreamed of being a teacher, so that me working 8 to 4 disqualifies me, I should now go and create or start up a school because I need to be my own boss. The logic is kind of backwards. It's different if you seek now to be a private tutor and build up a company through that.

One thing I've realised especially in my own life was that I wanted to accelerate through life, do what should take 10 years in 5 years and take giant steps in my future, it was all good until I learnt that somethings come with a process. If you happened to miss some of the steps you may feel that you're ahead but that thing will resurface and your lack of knowledge and experience will show. Secondly I asked myself, "where am I hurrying to?" Thirdly I become real hard on myself I felt like I never achieve anything. However view my CV and you realise wow how did you manage to do all these things and have all these qualifications?

I met a gentlemen a few years ago when I had finished my Law degree, he is probably in his 50s now maybe early 60s. He has become a good friend of the family. He has an extremely prestigious position with Transport for London and railway networks. He came from an engineering and electrical background. Now he is known and welcomed in the Commons and rubs shoulders with parliamentary bodies. Yet he works a 9-5 however outside of that he opted to go into property and owns several houses. So essentially he has the freedom he needs from the properties yet he works. He is one of the most humbled guy I've ever met, you would never know he lives in a 6bedroom house... Anyways point here is at every step of your life you're achieving something. Just because you're a clothes designer or make-up artist or you own your own business it doesn't mean your life is much better than the next Adam or Eve.

I went a year where I worked for myself, mate that stuff is hard, I grinded hard yes I learnt a lot of about myself and what I was capable of doing and what I needed to do.

If my dream is to be a lawyer and I'm in the firm I want to be in and I'm a happy man. A lot of you don't understand the type of relationship to have with money that's most probably why you'll never be financial free. Most of you seek financial freedom only to spend more. You want to make money in your sleep to only spend it when you're awake. That's the problem! You can have less materialistic goodies and still be content. Yes live good, if that big house is what you want then go for it, however seek the treasures of life also. If you lose everything today what would be the things or who will be that person that can still bring joy and contentment to your heart? Search for such. What shall it profit a man to gain the whole world and lose his soul?

Seek understanding of money so you acquire it to be a blessing rather then yearn for it and waste it. Don't kill yourself overworking chasing money because by the time you made what you thought you needed you might not have time to enjoy it and you most probably had wasting the golden years.

Once I understood this my mindset to work, work ethics, employment and business completely changed. I don't work hard any more, hard in sense that I drain my body or over work it. That's how you bring illnesses to yourself but rather I chose to work SMARTER. Once I realised that wisdom loves a thinker, it started to show me how to get the same result but with the least amount of stress.

All I did was to THINK! Analyse situations and solve the problem. Always remember wisdom comes to those who seek out for it. Opt to be wiser, smarter and that's what you'll be. Wisdom comes to those who want to learn more. Avail yourself.

How do you do it?

Well my answer is pretty simple. In regards to things or any task I just think of how to make it easier and I do it.
At work I want to get paid more for doing less labour. So I wake up early, I plan my day and tasks so I simplify it all so I don't experience stress. I work the quickest before 12pm and eliminate all the tough task FIRST. After lunch when I start getting lethargic I can mellow down because I've done what I needed to do and some. I chose to work smart and quickly so I don't stress and I have a lot more time to THINK and conjure up fresh ideas. I know our jobs maybe different, yes I know but in all areas of your life look to be and work smarter. Be not a burden nor bring stress on your own life or that of others.

I think I'll make a separate post on working smarter with some tips because some people equate success with how hard they've worked, although all they've could have done is done something differently yet they'll think they had worked harder. When all they did was become smarter or changed their thinking!

Thus to conclude do what is right when you know it is right not because society or people's opinions is pushing you to! Only thing allowed to push you is your dreams and passions. If you're in a 9-5 that doesn't benefit you or suppresses you then change it. Do what makes you feel alive! It is perfectly fine to work for yourself and own your own business, you may have exactly what the world needs. I heavily encourage it but don't get lost in the sauce.

The purpose of this post was to show that there is a difference between encouraging and motivating people to do better and looking down on people who are where they need to be and making ends meet!

Born a legend to leave a legacy.

Credit Cards: Yes or A NO-NO?

One thing that you need to understand about the world we live in is that, it runs on debt. We live in a debt fuelled society. From the countries borrowing and owing money to central banks and presidents who put their countries in debit with other countries. Which then fuels down to local banks with credit cards, loans and even store cards. We have been immersed into the life of buy now pay later and we are trained to think that it is ok! We are not afraid anymore of not having money anymore. We can buy all we want now and pay it back later despite the fact that we can actually be paying more than the initial price. However, some people still fear credit cards as though it's the pikin of the devil! Lol Surely there must be a way around this system right? Can we actually use this debt thing to actually work in our favour? There's always a loophole somewhere, can credit cards actually work in our favour? Yes, they can as long as you use it wisely. What do I mean by

KER-CHINGGG!! moneyyyy!!

MoNEy mONey MONEYYYYY! *hums the tune* YH YH Perfect Jem , what can you tell us that we don’t already know? Nothing! King Solomon one of the wisest men that ever lived said, “there’s nothing new under the sun”.     My question to you now is what are you doing with the knowledge that you have? Remember Knowledge is only power in the hands of someone that knows how to use it. Knowledge is acquired by either information or revelation. The difference is that information is acquired by you seeing, hearing, touching or feeling something. Revelation is a hidden truth that is discovered either by divine intervention or by your educated inner man.   For example have you ever had a moment when you seemed to know something and you have no idea how you know it… you even wonder... “Like wow...i knew that”. Especially to those who do regular speaking, speeches, you say something and you think like...wow... that came out of me. That is
